A New Chapter in our Journey
In 1989, Mark Vitow and his son Brandon founded the business that continues today, starting out as travelling salesmen selling just a single private label product, a pipe freeze spray, from the boots of their cars.
From those early beginnings, the company has grown across three generations of family ownership into a business deeply connected to the plumbing and heating trade.
Over four decades we’ve achieved significant growth, evolving well beyond traditional distribution. Today, we manufacture and develop our own products, build brands, and form strategic partnerships with market leaders such as OB1 and OX Tools to bring innovation to merchants nationwide on competitive terms. More recently, we’ve also expanded into global sourcing, creating new opportunities for our customers.
As that growth has taken shape, it has become clear that the next step is to bring these capabilities together under one structure.
Introducing VITOW Group
We are proud to introduce VITOW Group, with this new identity being rolled out across our business over the coming year, including the launch of a brand new website.
VITOW Group brings together everything we do: the national strength of Mark Vitow Distribution, the innovation of our VITOW brand, the success of our exclusive Partnerships, and our growing global Sourcing capabilities, all under one unified direction.
