We’re proud to share that Mark Vitow Ltd is a Silver Sponsor of an incredible humanitarian project in Nepal, organised by The Worshipful Company of Plumbers and the Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering (CIPHE) through their Plumbing Professionals Development Scheme (PPDS).
The Bokhejunda Water Distribution Project, delivered in partnership with the Dolma Foundation, aims to bring clean running water to the remote village of Changam Basti in the Rasuwa District of Nepal.
We’re sponsoring Daisy Turner, winner of the 2024 HIP Learner of the Year, as she joins three fellow PPDS volunteers on a mission to restore the village’s water supply. Working alongside the local community, they’ll repair and upgrade a gravity-fed system that draws from a natural spring. The work includes rehabilitating a 5,000-litre storage tank, installing a new secondary tank, and replacing or adding more than two kilometres of piping.
The team’s work will provide 24-hour water access to more than sixty residents, reduce the risk of disease, create seventeen new jobs, and give local families the foundation they need for a healthier future.
This project perfectly aligns with our PositivePlumbing philosophy: supporting the next generation of plumbing professionals and using our industry to create meaningful, lasting change.
The project and its sponsors will also be recognised on a global stage at the World Plumbing Conference 2026, which is co-located with InstallerSHOW at the NEC Birmingham in June.
It’s a great reminder of how our industry has the power to change lives for the better. 💜
