Mark Vitow Ltd is proud to continue its sponsorship of the Women Installers Together (WIT) Conference for the fourth consecutive year!

Founded by Hattie Hasan MBE, WIT brings tradeswomen from across the UK together for a day of connection and inspiration, reinforcing the message that women in skilled trades deserve recognition, respect, and equal opportunities.

“WIT is the only opportunity for many tradeswomen to meet others who share our unique experiences,” says Hattie Hasan MBE, founder of Stopcocks Women Plumbers and the Register of Tradeswomen CIC. “With women in skilled trades still making up only around 1% of all tradespeople, events like this are vital in building community and visibility.”

Since its inception, WIT has grown significantly, providing a space for tradeswomen to connect, share experiences, and inspire the next generation. This year’s event will take place on July 4th, featuring a celebrity speaker, tradeswomen sharing their stories, and roundtable discussions on key issues affecting women in skilled trades.

Matthew Phillips, CEO at Mark Vitow Ltd, said: “We are incredibly proud to continue supporting the Women Installers Together Conference for the fourth year running. This event is a vital platform that brings tradeswomen together, fosters community, and encourages more women to enter the industry. At Mark Vitow Ltd, we believe in supporting women in trades not just at the conference but year-round, and we are committed to playing our part in driving positive change.”

This commitment to supporting women in trades is especially significant as the industry celebrates Women in Construction Week 2025 (March 2-8), an important global initiative led by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) to highlight women’s contributions to the sector. It also coincides with the upcoming International Women’s Day 2025 on March 8th—a time to reflect on progress, champion inclusivity, and continue advocating for a more diverse industry.

Hattie Hasan MBE added: “The continued support of companies like Mark Vitow Ltd is instrumental in making this event possible and in growing the wider movement for women in trades. Their commitment over the past three years has helped us amplify our message and create a space where women feel valued and empowered. It’s clear they genuinely care about making a difference, and we’re excited to welcome them back as a key sponsor in 2025.”

If you employ or are looking to employ tradeswomen, WIT invites you to attend and learn how to attract and support female professionals in your company.
